De familie Ten Kate had een deel van hun familiere\u00fcnie gepland bij de molen. Deze mensen waren nazaten van de oorspronkelijke bouwers, Roelof en Jan ten Kate van molen De Star in 1848 en 1882.<\/p>\n<p>Jan Nijensikkens heeft ze eerst wat verteld over de familiestamboom, waarna de groep van 17 personen in twee groepen gesplitst werd voor een rondleiding door de molen.
