Het zag er toen mooi uit, alle opslag weg. Deze zomer zijn alle afgeknipte wilgen en berkjes weer uitgelopen. Het ziet eruit of er niks gedaan is, in tegendeel: de begroeiing is alleen maar dichter en hoger geworden. Van de hei is niet veel meer te zien. De vrijwilligers waren hier al bang voor. Als je de opslag niet met wortel en al eruit haalt, komt het weer terug. Maar hier ging het wel erg hard.
